OUTDOOR WORKOUT: Postnatal exercise class for Mums and Babies

Fitness for Mummies offer classes specifically designed for post natal mums who wish to exercise and socialise with their babies. Please make sure your GP / Midwife has completed your 6 week Check before commencing a class.

This Class is held outdoors in the park, all year round through all weathers. Babies come to, so no need for childcare. Please bring a mat or picnic rug and your little one in their buggy. Please dress appropriately for weather!

This class consists of power walking with the buggies. Fun team games, relays and circuit style exercises using exercise bands as resistance to work the whole body. The class will end wiith Core condition work consisting of abdominal, back and pelvic floor exercises.

Meet at the public toilets, down the hill on the right handside from the Ladywell Road entrance.

INDOOR WORKOUT: Postnatal exercise class for Mums and Babies

Fitness for Mummies offer classes specifically designed for post natal mums who wish to exercise and socialise with their babies. Please make sure your GP / Midwife has completed your 6 week check before commencing a class. (Babies from 6 weeks to pre-crawling)

The class consists of a low impact aerobic warm up, followed by upper and lower body conditioning exercises, often using resistance bands and balls. It also includes Pilates Matwork exercises to promote good posture and strengthen your core stability (the abdominal and back area). The class ends with a relaxing stretch. Babies come too, so no need for childcare. Your little ones can stay in buggies/car seats or play on our playmat.

Please note: Postnatal Exercise Classes are for non mobile babies only.

Flex and Stretch evening class (Mums & Non-Mums welcome!)

A Total body Women’s Workout. This class combines Cardio fitness with body toning moves, Fitness Pilates for training core muscles and Freestyle Fitness Yoga to stretch and relax at the end of the session.

Please bring your own exercise mat and drink.

BOOTCAMP Fitness in the Park

If you want to lose weight, increase your Cardio Fitness and tone up, then this is the class for you! It is a Circuit style exercise session with team games and exercises for the whole body.
All levels welcome, walkers and runners! Please bring water and weatherproof clothing!

FIT2DANCE ADULTS 4 week dance course

So if you wanna shake it like Beyonce, Beat it like Michael Jackson or just go plain GAGA, I'll see you Friday nights on the Dance Floor!

Adults Freestyle Dance Class: the class starts with a funky warm-up, stretch to encourage flexibility, exercises to increase core strength, and some basic technique, over the 4 weeks you will learn and perform a routine. Think MTV!
Who for: All welcome, especially Beginners
Music: Pop, R&B
Clothes: Trainers / jazz shoes and wear something comfortable that you can move easily in
